THE ETRUSCAN COAST AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

The Etruscan Coast is a treasure trove with small pearls of great value. Starting with Castiglioncello, in his most famous Cove, then head to the wide beaches of fine white sand in Vada.

The blue sea of silver coast, surrounded by the Natural Park of Uccellina in Orbetello, Monte Argentario with rugged cliffs, Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano.

The black of the rocks of Telamon, with its fortress and the old town, Capalbio and the Giardino dei Tarocchi;

the yellow of long beaches of Castiglione di Grosseto and the green hills of Massa Marittima; brown Monte Amiata enriched by villages and castles as Scansano, famous for wine Morellino, Campagnatico and Civitella Paganico.

Etruscan traces are still visible, as evidenced by the towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana.

In Maremma there are also the famous hot springs of Saturnia, with healing properties.

Elba Island is accessible by ferryboat from Piombino. Other destinations are wonderful island of Giglio and Giannutri reached by ferryboat from Porto Santo Stefano. Capraia and Gorgona reached by ferryboat from Livorno.
