REAL BOSCO CAPODIMONTE NAPLES
Real Bosco is located in Via Miano 4, Capodimonte, Naples.
It is a city park in Naples, located in the area of Capodimonte, in front of the homonymous palace.
In 2016 there were 1,007,564 visitors, resulting in the eighth most visited Italian museum site.
Capodimonte Park covers an area of 124 hectares, partially protected by a walled area built in the 1920s. In the same period there are two entrance doors, Porta Grande, along Ponti Rossi Street, with two side guards, and Porta Piccola, with garette built in 1835 and heavily restored over time; a third door, Porta Caccetta, was created in 1816, expanded in 1834, demolished during the mid-twentieth century and restored in the early 2000s.
Before the entrance to the central heart of the park you will see the gardens of the palace, so called because they are located around the structure that houses the museum of Capodimonte, and also known as Spianato: they are large prairie flower beds, end of the eighteenth century, enriched since the late eighteenth century...
