NAVELLI EAGLE CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF ROSARY
The
Church of Our Lady of the Rosary was built in the eighteenth century,
after the earthquake, it is in Baroque style with a monumental baroque
organ of the vast complex of wooden Adriano Faithful of Rocchetta di
Camerino (formerly Fedri). There are six altars in addition to the largest of which four have
their sides of the stucco bearing the arms of noble Navelli noble
families who enjoyed Jus Patronatus.
The places altars from the Cornu side Gospels relatively more are devoted to: the Holy Cross, in Sant'Anna and the SS. Andrea d'Avellino and Gaetano Tiene. The altars of the opposite side are dedicated: the S.ma Annunziata, S.Emidio and SS. Antonio Abate and Isidore Agricola.
The altar of the Crucifix S.mo and that of S.ma Annunziata were J.P. the
past Bertolfi family then charged to the Francesconi family that he
carved their sides four bas-reliefs bearing the weapon aristocratic
family; the altar of St. Gaetano Tiene and St. Andrew of Avellino was instead of J.P. Cuttings of the family that he carved on its sides two coats of arms bearing the noble weapon family.
In the church you can see precious paintings on the interior of the
times from the late eighteenth century representatives paradise.
This church is located at the foot of the country just above the Piazza San Pelino.
