PASSO SAN LEONARDO PACENTRO AQUILA ABRUZZO
Passo San Leonardo falls within the territory of the Majella National Park.
It is an excellent starting point for ascents; in particular through the rava of White Mare (the so-called "direct") you can reach Monte Amaro (m.2795), the highest peak in the Majella.
It falls in the town of Pacentro in the province of Aquila in Abruzzo

You route from Highway 487 and connects the town of Pacentro, in the Peligna Valley, with the town of Sant'Eufemia a Maiella, in the high Orta Valley. You can also reach the step away from the slopes of Campo di Giove through the SP 54.
The resort hosts a small ski resort with ski slopes easy and particularly suitable for beginners. There is also a ring for cross-country skiing.
