PALAZZO BRANCIFORTE RACCUJA, PALERMO
Century Sicilian palace, located in the historic center of Palermo, [2] in via Bara Olivella.
It built during the sixteenth century on the edge of the Castello a Mare, and was the first private residence of the Count of Raccuja, later bought in the early seventeenth century by Giuseppe Branciforte, prince of Pietraperzia.
It was one of the most sumptuous patrician houses of the city.
E 'was reopened to the public May 23, 2012, after a long restoration.
Inside the Palace, in the riding of the ground floor it houses the archaeological collection of the Foundation Sicily, with 4700 pieces.
